It was in a 2.5ft3 box tuned to 32hz and I rarely experienced mechanical noise or bottoming out. I'd say it is a quality product. Jeezus you beat the hell out of the sub. 1500w on a 600w sub is impressive. A local shop to me sells Skar audio. They have solid products and sound fine and hard hitting.

I was suspicious about the quality of Skar products given their price point. I sent the 1200-watt amp to a lab to have it tested. Efficiency was under 65% at 1-ohm and the amp shut down in under four minutes. It's fully unregulated and made only 975 watts at one-ohm. I guess I should have known better.
