I'm interested in starting work on a tier list for Pathfinder, in the same way that we have a tier list for 3.5 (link). This link is a collection of discussions about the power and versatility of all the base classes of 3.5 DnD, and it’s quite a useful resource. I think Pathfinder could do with a similar resource as a point of information and discussion.The investigator is a curious oddity in a dungeon fantasy game. Where typical characters are built for delving dungeons, slaying dragons, and facing the worsts horrors of the multiverse, the Investigator is a much more methodical class, built around finding clues, following leads, and investigating subjects.

Overall the Investigator is similar to the rogue but fills a different niche. The rogue benefits from having as many attacks as possible while the Investigator can do very well with only one big attack. Alchemy Methodology can also be very potent. Legendary Will Saves is better than Legendary Reflex Saves IMO.A Vigilante could start with 14 or 16 Dexterity, and not put a single ability score increase into it and get by just fine. This allows you Vigilante to put resources into Intelligence to improve their spellcasting capacity. Class Skills: Losing 2 skill ranks per level is really hard when your skill list is so long.

The Witch is Pathfinder's answer to 5e's Warlock in everything but some specific mechanics. Flavor wise the Witch is a 1:1 of a 5e Pact of the Chain Warlock, and gameplay wise it shares many of the same ideas, just executed differently.
