For me with the $10 plan for 34 credits, that's $0.29 per credit, making even a 30 credit movie effectively $8.70. Ticket costs where I live are $13.25 which means a 34% discount. Not bad! Obviously it's an even better discount if you go during the week, but this is the worst case scenario.
