Mostly do oil and filter changes although I recently had to adjust some bent clamps on the dirt bike handlebar. My current issue is that one of our KFX 90 Atv won't start. What I've done so far is change the oil, clean and oil the filter, swap the spark plug with the one that is starting fine. I bought both quads new in 08'. My 450 takes no more maintenance than my 700, and I ride the piss outa the 450. Reverse was also the deciding factor when I bought it. 2005 KFX 700 Starting Problem. I have a 2005 KFX 700. I had the Carb rebuilt without Splitting them. It has a hard time starting I have to keep the starter engaged totally until it is running. It takes a while. But once it is running for a while and you kill it, it starts right up again. As long as the motor is hot.

First the ATV was running, giving a little starting trouble and then just wouldn't start. After checking compression, it had about 30lbs. I changed the rings with stock rings and now it pumps up to about 80lbs.

The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl.
