ANY standard 1911 grip WILL WORK!! sounds like they were trying real hard to sell you their grips.the grip screws ARE metric but do work. if you want 1911 grip screws you will have to change BUSHINGS also. the SIG screws will work with different grips. i have hogue rubber finger groove wrap around grips on my GSG now.
