I am learning repair as I go and worked with my Dad to try to diagnose this issue. We disassembled the lower unit and didn't find anything glaringly wrong with the water pump or impeller but it still won't autoprime.

Checked the lower unit for water this evening,after leaving it in the barrel overnight,and,yesterday's testing and decarb. Thanks for the reply!! The motor model # is 225 581500 (15hp) The prop that's on there now model # is tough to read but I think it's 072025. The motor is on a 14' Gamefisher Aluminum boat. We usually carry 2 avg sized poeple and fishing equipment. (Battery, Minn Kota trolling mtr, gas tank...) If there is any additional info needed I will reply.
