It is insanely powerful, but due to my low health build, I died a lot. As far as the enclave plasma flamer, generally the same as the others, AA, bloodied, vampires, etc. quad is useless. I have a 2* AA/ap regen on kill and it slaughters everything. I would probably keep rolling for a vampires (I have a 2 plasma flamers) but I’m keeping the AA for sure.

I suppose it might depend on what attachments you have on it. I changed the flamer attachment to automatic barrel and the automatic rifle perks increased it's damage. I didn't see any attachment for an automatic flamer mod.

The auto barrel might be considered commando though. Btw it’s worth it. A good enclave flamer build is ridiculous. Definitely requires rifleman though. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of getting a proper enclave flamer first try the normal plasma rifle. It’s still awesome and got me into the hunt to begin with.

The ideal situation is to have the Aligned Flamer Boxed mod and multiple EPRs with reflex sights. You can then roll the EPRs and only apply the box mod to the one with the best effects. There is a farming method for the Enclave Aligned Flamer mod but it requires fallout 1st, private server, and at least three characters.
