Anyway, my understanding is that if you are using a device (i.e.: Cell phone) that is only capable of accessing the 2.4 ghz band, then you are stuck at the slower speeds even though the Panoramic WiFi goes up to 5 ghz, which is faster.I'm on Cox using a Panoramic WiFi Modem/Router and finally got out of relayed status. What I learned: I thought I had to have a public-facing Static IP address for my account/router, but I do not. My IP to the world is still dynamic, but hotspot is out of Relayed status.
