Delta is launching a program to attract new pilots called the Propel Pilot Career Path Program. The new program is designed to compliment the traditional existing paths which pilots use to advance into major airline employment. Apply but prepare to get a lot of grief from pilots along the way. People coming through this program are gonna be treated essentially as scabs. (Though on a legal basis they are no where close to being such). Basically, I’m considering changing schools and attending one of the delta propel partner schools because the propel program looks very appealing. However you can only apply for it once you’re at the school so there’s a possibility I pick up leave everything for this program and not get accepted.
