Has this activity stopped giving powerful gear as part of the weekly reset? Did you already run it this week? I could be wrong, but I think powerful drops are capped, just like pinnacle drops. Serious side; nah the triumphs dont have any limit on them and Bungie haven't said it'll be leaving with witch queen etc. so for now consider it like any expansion and you've got 2+ years on it.
For the rest of the activities that the event card says should drop leaves, I did Blind Well 3 times which gave 0, 1 sever mission which gave 0, an Altar of Sorrow, Dares of Eternity twice, all of which didn’t give any at all. Maybe worth noting I don’t have an exotic on, I was worried the drop rate went up with more pieces of gear.

I ground out legend dares for days last week to get enough red borders to craft BxR. I falsely assumed legend gave higher drop rates, but it took 3 days to get 3 red border BxRs on legend, and just one day to get two red borders on normal Dares.
