Best contraverse hold build.
At 7 you get 46% energy back, and at 6 you get 42% back. Doubling up is therefore pretty worth it, but on a contraverse build I think OPs set up is the best. 4 charge from just 2 orbs with stacks on stacks, 42% from 2 kick-starts but you still get to make an orb on grenade kills. It's the best set up IMO.

I max Resilience and Discipline, everything else in Recovery. Typically, you are running Feed the Void in Conjunction with Chaos Accelerant so devour makes Low Recovery managable.I prefer contraverse hold because the result per combat loop is easier to execute and higher yield. All I need to do is toss a nade at either groups or a high health target to weaken them for my weapons/teammates. Grenade kickstart takes a second to trigger. If you damage mobs too early, you get regen from the contraverse hold, and then you have too much grenade charge for kickstart. If it takes a second for the grenade to do damage, then you can get both. Okay that's good to know.It wasn't nerfed with 30th anniversary, if anything it was buffed. Prior to 30th contraverse would regenerate your grenade ability a semi-random amount between 1 second and 4 second and on average it is as 1.35 seconds. The change made it a consistent 1.4 second of regeneration.

With a few mods you have nearly constant grenade uptime. When you use contraverse hold on devour eat the nade (charge and consume ) then kill something with your weapons. You get grenade energy back it actually works really well.
