M2 is 3", A400 Xtreme is 3 1/2". I think a better comparison would be the A300 Outlander vs the M2. I have seen some dirt low deals on the A300 and love the way that guns fits me. I am 100% pro-Beretta but some people just love the Benelli and there is no harm no foul there. They make a damn good gun as well.

In my opinion, while the Affinity is a good gun, the Benelli M2 is a better gun. The stock on the Affinity feels like cheap plastic to me.
