When the welding is done in a chamber having specialized pressure conditions, it is called ‘Dry Welding’. If the welder needs to wear scuba gear to go underwater to do welding, it is known as ‘Wet Welding’. It is highly risky and hard to weld at a depth above 1,300 feet as the pressure is very high in such conditions.
