IMO PUBG is a great practice grounds for Dayz and could potentially help people who stress in Dayz combat to practice and just be better in general. Newbie question on loot respawn. I'm new to the game and was reading in a couple of places that loot respawn works roughly as follows. After 1-10 minutes, loot may respawn in that building in empty spots if a player is within 150m of the building when the timer goes off. The game to an outsider can be considered to be very boring. Running around to get basic gear in a few hours to be killed suddenly . The two floors red/green/brown houses. You can have 3 walls and 4 if you want with less space. One of the city houses with 3 floors are also possible. Apartment buildings are also fine.
