most likely candidate is a 32 hand ejector from early 1900's. also a serial number should also be seen on the butt frame - most commonly on the bottom, but sometimes on the front side. It comes from a lineage back to 1899, they begame the model 10 in 1957 and were made in various forms. The 10 dash 6 is known as the heavy barrel variety. The Model 60 began production in 1965, just as Google said. The modern Smith & Wesson company no longer cares about its history.
