There isn't a super solid number, but the estimate is that only 5-10% of nanny employers actually pay over the table and pay the taxes. Balking at the extra money is dumb. They basically see it as one of their salaries being used for the nanny’s salary, otherwise one of them would just be a stay at home parent.
