We are the Nowthen Historical Power Association (NHPA) and evolved from the Anoka Engine Club and the Rogers Pioneer Power Association. One group restored a 22" International Harvester Threshing machine and used it to put on the original Rogers Threshing Show. The other group collected and restored old tractors and stationary gas engines.

The Nowthen Threshing Show is a three day event that takes place annually on the third full weekend (Friday through Sunday) in August. Guests can watch history happen by watching corn chopping, blacksmithing, grain threshing, and sawmill demonstrations, or experience historic culture by wandering through the old restored school, church, log buildings, and train depot on the grounds.

In 1910 they became the Cockshutt Farm Equipment Company Ltd. At that time, they wanted to focus on building equipment and have others build their tractors for them. Friday night starts with the lower weights and we work up through the two nights. The depot was acquired by the Nowthen Historical Power Association in the fall of 2001, and was moved to a temporary site at the Nowthen Threshing Show grounds on November 23, 2001. The depot was then moved to its permanent location along the railroad tracks on June 29, 2002.
