The Marlin Model 39A is one of Marlin's most well-known lever-action rifles. It was originally introduced in 1939 and was a development of the original Model 39. The example shown here is a standard model with the longer 24-inch barrel compared to the 20-inch carbine version. It left the factory in 1951.That is a bit of a problem with the non-39A rimfires.
