Had 3 22lr pistols there 1 happen to be my Phoenix Arms hp22A kit. The HP22A is a great value for the price, but its not in the same class with the Ruger. I expect that the Ruger will last for tens of thousands of rounds of all kinds. The HP22A will serve you well if you limit the high velocity ammo, but its probably not a 10K round pistol.
