You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. The reason you must is there is a PLASTIC gear inside that controls the governor.

Hey MJL thanks for the information about the TAV. My friend has a baja frame that he put a predator 212 and a tav kit. He is around the same weight as you and I would say he only hits around 45 when he is riding. I weigh 140 pounds and I would estimate i was going around 50-55.
