First problem: After getting off the highway and stopping at a light, exhaust fumes flood the truck through the air vents. I thought maybe it was just one of those new car smells, and I thought it might go away, but nope. If the truck can do 20 mpg empty, it burns 1.5 gal just covering the 30 miles, plus the extra 1 gallon going to the 9th injector. You end up using 2.5 gal /30 miles or about 12 mpg. These 2024's seem to be using closer to 2 gal/30 miles, plus the extra for regen makes 3 gal/30miles or 10mpg during regen.

I have a '05 2500HD with the Duramax Diesel /Allison trans. and bought it with the stock air box and with it had very slow throttle reponse. I added on a Bully Dog Air Intake and did very little if anything to quicken it. It is most noticeable from a dead stop and hitting the throttle. It seems like it takes forever to kick in.
