Feb 20, 2022 · Using the arrows on your steering wheel, go down to find “gears”. You should see an icon that resembles a car crashing into the backside of another car. Using the middle button that is surrounded by the arrows, depresses select. This will turn the pre-collision system on and off.

For the last month, I have been having intermittent issues where the Pre-Collision Warning System Malfunctions and the Lane Departure Assist Malfunctions with 99.9% of the time with the L turn signal on. Has anyone had this issue?There is a problem with the telemetrics that talks to toyota. When the car is off, it should turn off. The 12v battery in the trunk just starts the computer. The traction battery cranks it. Need a dealer visit, could be a bad battery. Never a problem with my 2019 Rav4 H or a 2016 Sonata hybrid (with an original 12v) The 12v should last 6-8 years.The Toyota PKSB is the Toyota Parking Support Brake, and it’s supposed to help drivers shift in and out of park. If PKSB is malfunctioning, there’s likely a problem with the computer system that dictates information from the sensors to the parking apparatuses. Just curious if your hybrid made any unusual noises or other odd behavior. The warning clears after a few miles. It seems like it triggers the day after driving in rain or a few hours after a rain. It has triggered 4 times in the past month.Registered. Could just be a bad 12v battery. The battery would be 3-4 years old, it has been through a few winters. Bad batteries make the electrical systems freak out, and then eventually the 12v won't wake the car up at all.
