The 1906r atmos collab is beautiful, nostalgic and challenged my opinion of the model. I thought 1906rs were ugly but someone posted the shoe on here and it looked like a shoe you woulda found in a Japanese thrift shop in the early 2000’s. At least I imagine 😂. 1. svinteli.
I got the Prime X at the end of June and have put 200 miles on them since then. They became my all time favorite max cushion/most forgiving long run shoe. Once I saw New Balance released basically their version of the Prime X, I had to try them. I never buy shoes on release or at full price but I made an exception for the SuperComp Trainers.Disappointed with the 990v6. I thought I would give some of my thoughts on the 990v6. I do a lot of walking and have walked a lot in various NBs. It's been said many times already that the 990v6 runs long and narrow. 2002r is one of my all-time favourite sneakers and it has a suspension system better than most cars. Absolutely incredible daily beater. I see the 993 as the magnum ...990v6 sizing journey. i purchased the v6 in a size 7.5 regular and 7.5 wide. both fit pretty weird. i felt like the reg was okay and the wide just super wide. i ended up returning both of them. i loved how the shoe looked but the fitment just didn’t sit well with me, i think it was the shape of how the shoe was with my ankle. it felt as if ... i definitely feel like the v6 is lacking that foam cushioning overall versus other new balances i own. for example, even the v3 and 2002r have a much more padded feeling in the upper between my foot and the mesh and tongue. i was a bit disappointed with that because my first impression of the v6 was that it wasn't nearly as comfortable as the other models, at least when sitting or standing still. 990v3 vs 990v5 comfort. Everyone says the v5 are so comfortable but i feel like the v3s are less stiff and have more cushion and more comfortable?
