Even schools that are entirely pass/fail can be cut-throat unfortunately. I feel like in part it also depends on the students accepted. Everyone seems nice and collaborative at interviews but when classes start, a lot of them are toxic, their when it comes to helping others or bragging about how well they do with minimal studying.
