I recently got a Coop (highly rated) pillow and, while the firmness is adjustable, I don't like it near as much. These pillows are already somewhat flat, which is great for my side / stomach sleeping self. So- I have one solid latex pillow that's about 3" loft. While I also generally prefer higher loft pillows, I think I would hate a higher loft latex pillow -- I find that even though the latex is soft, my head just doesn't compress the foam downwards the way it does with stuffed pillows or with a solid memory foam pillow.
