Fair assessment. I like the jm pro due to the gas system over an inertia system. I think I it's smoother, softer and more accurate for quick follow up shots. It's more maintenance, but once you know what your gun needs to operate well, it's as good as any other firearm imo. I was an early adopter of the 930 JM pro, but the gas system is completely unchanged. The gas piston is beneath the fore end, and the vent holes are located toward the top of the piston housing, the vent to the inside of the fore end.
