Indent line on frer.

Got a shadow of a line on an internet cheapie that came up in the time limit but it really is only a shadow. Have attached last nights frer with this mornings frer, and the ic. On a lot of my first response tests, you can even see the grey line before you take the test- their website confirms sometimes you can see the grey line after a test is taken (I.e. an indent). I think that both of these brands have their faults, so you'll need to retest in a day or so to see if you get a definite answer. I have only seen an indent a couple of times on the old FRER and I don't recall them ever developing to look more like a line over time. I will try to wait until tomorrow morning to test again. If it is a BFP, hopefully the line will be more obvious!

So last month I got an awful indent on FRER that I swore looked positive - only had the one and rest were negative and AF showed up, was devastated. This month me and my partner are TTC again, I don’t know why I didn’t learn my lesson but had more FRERs. I’ll attach the pictures, took 2, both had the faintest pink line that showed up ...Shining a flashlight through it can enhance the indent where a positive would be. I would never recommend doing anything to inspect tests because that could lead to false hope. Just look, throw away, and keep retesting. I did that last cycle and it showed a bad indent line.I had just accepted that we wouldn't have a third after all and then this comes up this morning. 2nd morning wee, 4 hour hold. This came up right…I used FRER's for years when ttc and never got any kind of line when it was negative. If you were using a cheapo test then, yes, they have evap lines all the time. Go to target and buy up all the FRER's. Take a test tonight. Use a cup to collect your urine. If your urine is really diluted then don't waste the FRER. Good luck!! And when I put it up to the light it is totally see through. She was extremely kind and told me this: They added those visible lines that pop up in the time frame to let the customer know that the test has functioned properly. The ink has gone over it and tested for HCG, and if a white/grey line or anything but pink, that's all it means. That the test has functioned properly and it is NOT a postive result.

i could also see the test line before I used it. I had bloodwork done 2 days ago and had similar line on the frer (12dpiui) and hcg was a 2. Probably just the reminder of my trigger shot.
