I had this issue as well before. I did some research and found a few things that I did that helped with this. 1. Took throttle body off and cleaned it. 2. Took hose/boot that goes from the air filter to the throttle body off and cleaned it. Had oil in it from where the PCV valve was clogged up. 3. Changed spark plugs.1. I really want to avoid taking it to the dealer and I came across a potential 'fix' that involves changing the brake light switch.I am also having the "traction control off", "service traction control", and "service stabilitrak" lights on. I have taken it to my local GMC dealership and they pulled codes: P0011, P0014,P0021, and P0024. From what the technicians say, it is the camshaft end play that is causing these codes.

GM roadside service (included in the warranty) jumped the car and it started and I drove it direct to the dealer.

That I’ll change next. Now I have a failed tire pressure sensor that I need to have changed. My question is could that tire pressure sensor be causing the problem.
